The project that marked the end of my Master's degree journey. A thesis that attempted to answer the question -  "Is nostalgia a useful psychological tool that can be utilised as a healthy way to cope with the harsh reality or is it a treacherous trap dressed as a beautiful dream of the past?"

Island of Isolation was born from a place of complex emotions as well. I wanted to capture the essence of this place that holds so many memories for me and has also witnessed a period in time that will never return. It is an attempt to capture those emotions that were felt in that very moment before they get tainted and blurred with the passing of time expressed via a short film.

For this unit we as a group worked with a shoe brand, Kat Maconie, and a musical duo, IBEYI, to fulfil their briefs.
