Event Design and execution at UaL
I was a part of the Student Experience team at UaL for 3 years and during my time there I started out as the "Project Support" then as the "Committee Admin" and concluded my time there as the "Events Executive".
Being a part of the team gave me the opportunity to diversify my portfolio while allowing me to become a Jack of all trades by being involved in all the stages of event design.
Below are some examples of large and small scale events that I have been a part of during my time there.
Masquerade Ball at Big Penny
The ball was hosted at Big Penny, Blackhorse Road with an attendance of 200 UaL students.
I workshopped and hand-made the props and decor that filled the entire room and also worked as the on-set decorator for the event.

Puppy Therapy at UaL Halls
Puppy Therapy has been a strong favourite and recurring event that Halls Life hosted across 9 student accommodation halls.
The idea behind it was to boost student morale and mood during the gloomy month of January in London .

Halls Life + Diwali Celebration
A celebration hosted at Camberwell College to mark Diwali! It was a wholesome event with lots of sweets and food. A relaxed and laidback time for students to enjoy after a long day at university.

12 Hours of Queer Magic
In honour of LGBTQIA+ History Month, we hosted a marathon 12 hour long event that was hosted across 6 venues . The students followed a very fun "Quest Map" and hopped across all the venues with each venue offering something fun and new for them to try. We partnered with several queer owned business and also multiple charities as supporting these causes has been an integral part the ethos that Halls Life has.

Halls Life+ BBQ
The BBQ was one of the first event among the many that was hosted specifically for Post-grad, mature and returning students. In typical London fashion, it rained down unexpetedly so the BBQ had to be hoested inside instead but that encouraged students to hang around and chat with each other even more!
